Big Brother Naija: Why I disobeyed my dad,


 Debie disclosed running away from home in pursuit of her dream against his fathers wish.She is really passionate about becoming an artist.She said during the campaign she want to be a source of inspiration to young girls.Debie the guitaris is 27 years.And i must say she is really inspiring young youths in the aspect of pursuing ones dream no matter the limitations.


Debie-Rise also disclosed that her father called the organizers of the reality television show to pull her out of the programme.
She said, “I ran away from the house to be here because there is something I believed in. I just wanted to be more famous. Not for my self but for other people around me. The shocking part is ‘popsy’ actually called that I should be removed from here.

“He did call the organisers of this event, though I’m not supposed to say all of this but I was able to say a few words to convince him.
“All I can say is, I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do but I just want to prove a point, I want this passion, career of mine to be an inspiration to girls and people who have dreams.”

Nigerian doctors suspend 55 days old strike

TVC NEWS [ABUJA]- The striking Nigerian Medical doctors under the aegis of the Nigerian Medical Association, on Sunday suspended their 55 day-old industrial action with immediate effect. President of the association, Dr. Kayode Obembe, who addressed journalists in Abuja, subsequently, directed members to resume at their various duty posts on Monday. The doctors began their industrial action on July 1, 2014 over a 24-point demands bothering on welfare, condition of service and poor facilities in government hospitals. But obembe said the decision to suspend the industrial action was taken after the Emergency Delegate Meeting of the association, held in Abuja on Saturday. He explained that the strike was suspended in the interest of urgent national emergencies while negotiations with the Federal Government continues.
