Yesterday, Sunday, October 15, 2017 which is Nigerian music legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s 79th posthumous birthday, the Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode unveiled the Liberation Statue of the Afrobeat legend, at Allen Avenue Roundabout, Ikeja. The governor then went on with his entourage to witness a command live performance by Femi Kuti at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja as the 2017 Felabration wrapped up. More photos below:
