The manner in which Jide Tinubu, first son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died has been revealed. A Delta state high court sitting at Ozoro has sentenced a 38-year-old farmer, identified as Francis Williams to death for robbing his victim of N170 and a Nokia phone valued at N5,000. According to Guardian , the court presided over by Justice A.O. Akpovi sentenced the farmer having found him guilty of the charge of armed robbery punishable under section (1(2)(a) of the robbery and firearms (Special Provision) Act Cap RII Volume 14 Laws of the Federation , 2004. At least 25 persons have died in a fatal accident that occurred in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, on Friday, July 28, 2017. The accident occurred after a tanker conveying fuel and an 18-seater bus coming from the North had a head-on coalition, resulting in flames, which consumed both vehicles and its occupants to ashes. It was learnt that the accident occurred at the Lokoja end of Felele – Okene – Abuja Road at about 1:30pm, with residents of the area scampering for safety.
