The release of Burna Boy ‘s latest album, aptly titled African Giant, has opened a rather robust conversation on South African Twitter. Xenophobia Mtn closes down world wide

South Africa owned telecommunications , MTN has announced the closure of all its shops in Nigeria. This may not be unconnected with the threat by some Nigerians to reciprocate the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that there had been series of attack on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.  An action which the minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama says the South African government was not doing enough to quell. The attacks by South Africans also led to an attempt by Somme Nigerians to raze some South African owned companies in Nigeria, including MTN, Dstv and Shoprite. In a message to its subscribers on Wednesday, MTN Nigeria announced the closure of its shops and the operation of only its online platforms. ”Yello! Our shops are unavailable today. Burna boy and other celebs speak on Xenophobia in SA

Burna Boy speaks up on  Xenophobia and he isn’t holding back he joined the other celebrities talking about it. The ‘African Giant’ reacted bitterly and angrily pouring out his mind; he called out AKA, MI and also vowed not to step foot in South Africa ever. Ok. I have been away from social media personally until today. Ordinarily at a time like this, I should come here and say something to try and calm the situation because my Dream has always been to Unite AFRICA and make us realise that Together we will Literally rule the world… But Today After watching the Killing of my people in South Africa the same way we have all watched it happen a few times in the past.
