SSS confirms 21 deaths after failed jailbreak by Boko Haram men Marilyn Ogar, the spokesperson for the Department of State Security Services (SSS) said yesterday that 21 detained terrorists died during the attempted jailbreak at the Service's headquarters in Abuja on Sunday morning. "Following our earlier releases, it has been established that eighteen (18) casualties were recorded, while two (2) Service personnel sustained serious injuries. Three (3) other detainees who sustained gunshot injuries during the incident have also died. "Meanwhile, investigation is still ongoing to ascertain the immediate and remote causes. Damn! $450,000 Lamborghini Aventador wrecked in crash A Lambor ghini Aventador speed car worth about $450,000 was wrecked in a three-car smash on one of London's most expensive streets, Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, yesterday afternoon. The Lamborghini was involved in the crash with a BMW and a Mazda 5. The matte black  super car collided with the Mazda, then hit a stationary BMW, badly damaging the front of the car. Ouch! Pastor Sign Fireman absolved of murder Weeks after he was arrested for the alleged ritual murder of a virgin girl, Pastor Sign Fireman, the founder of Perfect Christianity Mission, has been cleared of all murder charges . The Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) absolved the popular pastor of complicity in the murder of a 12 year old virgin after the conclusion of police investigations into the incident. "After a careful consideration of the facts contained in the duplicate file , this office is of the opinion that a prima facie case of murder is established against the primary suspect (Egbo) only. Bowen University closed indefinitely following students' riot The management of Bowen University this morning closed the school indefinitely following students' protest last night. Students of the private uni. say they are protesting scarcity of electricity, water and plans by the university to increase school fees. The students say they are not being treated right "They take the light by 8am, and bring it back by 8pm and it goes off by 11pm again. We don't have water, no socket light, while our lecturers are in AC offices and cars. We have time table for eating. 7-9am for breakfast, 12-3 for lunch and 6-8 for dinner.
