The manner in which Jide Tinubu, first son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died has been revealed. According to a member of the Tinubu family, who asked not to be named because of the sensitive nature of the matter, Jide suddenly collapsed and died from what was suspected to be a heart attack around 9 pm on Tuesday. “However, after the incidence, close family members rushed him down to hospital on Lagos Island where he was confirmed dead on arrival,” the source told journalists in Lagos He added that the tragic news was kept secret because the father, Bola Tinubu, was in Abuja for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of his party, the APC Chairman of APC in Lagos, Otunba Henry Ajomale confirmed Jide’s death in a short statement he (Ajomale) issued on Wednesday. “It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaj

Former Mr Nigeria and actor, Kenneth Okolie has released his pre-wedding photos with US-based wife, Jessica. Kenneth Okolie, proposed to his US-based girlfriend, Jessica Nwakah sometimes around January. The two have been dating after he split upwith his ex. This will be Kenneth's second engagement. In 2012, he got engaged to his former girlfriend Mariam but they later called it off.  Come December 16th, 2017, the couple will have their white wedding. The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the driver of a hotel operator on Victoria Island, William Olowoloju, for allegedly kidnapping his boss’ younger brother and the victim’s girlfriend. Olowoloju and three others –Ayo Akinola, Segun Teluwo and one Akindamola – reportedly kidnapped the victims, Dumebi Azuka and Rebecca Omokoro, on Elegba Festival Drive, Oniru Private Estate, Victoria Island, at about 11.30pm on Saturday, October 21. The lovers were driving out of the estate in a Ford Jeep when the abductors reportedly waylaid them at gunpoint and tied them up. They were said to have driven the victims to their hideout in Agodo Alara village, Ogijo, Ogun State, and demanded N20m ransom from the hotelier, Edwin Azuka. Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has revealed how she overcame the crisis that rocked her marriage with her husband Tunji Balogun aka Teebillz in 2016 who accused her of sleeping around with men. Speaking in a recent interview with Sunday Guardian, Tiwa Savage said she relied on God for help. She said: “My mother has always told me that, in this life, God only gives you what you can handle.
